The fine print

Health data policy

What counts as health data here

Your answers about food, stress, sleep, time outside, your support, your goal, and anything you tell us about your health. We handle all of it as sensitive.

While you answer

Your answers stay in your browser. They are not sent to us, and they are not stored on your device after you close the page. We only count, without any answer, how many people start the check-in, finish it and ask for something. Google Analytics receives the same step names and nothing else: never an answer, never your result.

If you choose to send them

When you ask for your map by email or request a conversation, you tick a separate box that says we may receive your answers. Only then are they sent. We use them for four things: to send your map and the practice emails, to help Dr. Werness prepare for a conversation and decide whether his program fits you (a proposed fit level is worked out from them and Maurice makes the final call), and to learn, in aggregate, how to make the check-in better.

Who sees it

Dr. Werness and the small team who help him run the program. Our hosting and email providers process it on our behalf. We never sell it. We never share it with advertising platforms, and we never use it to target ads at you or at anyone like you.

Safety answers

If anything on the last screen applies to you, we show you where to turn and we do not keep your answers. We do not count it either.

Keeping it safe

Your answers are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in an access-controlled database. We keep them for up to 12 months after you send them, then an automatic job erases them.

Delete your data or withdraw consent

Tell us the email you used. We will email that address to confirm it is you, then delete your answers and contact details within 30 days and tell you when it is done. You can also ask for a copy of your data, and if we refuse a request you can appeal by replying to our answer.
